An oversized, lightweight display-and-theatrical scale novelty welder's helmet designed to measure exactly 24 inches wide, 36 inches high, and 12 inches deep. To prevent structural collapse and minimize physical strain, the design utilizes a high-efficiency outer shell of 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood, tension-braced with an internal skeleton of 1/2" horizontal structural ribs. The construction employs tab-and-slot joinery with reinforced glue blocks, and requires a fire-retardant sodium silicate treatment to mimic structural integrity and protect against ambient heat.
