Designed around a heavily weighted 8/4 hardwood base to ensure stability, the project features a tall sweeping stem terminating in a 4-inch centralized receptacle (core). A deeply wedged through-mortise locks the stem to the base, while structural inner and outer shaped petals are joined to the central core using dual dowel joinery for an organic, cascading bloom that spans a precise 24-inch diameter.
