A high-durability, road-worthy camper cabin skeleton engineered specifically to fit a standard 6x12 utility trailer. Designed with aerodynamics, weight savings, and highway-speed wind shear resistance in mind, this project uses Douglas Fir 2x3 framing and a curved rafter design. The structure utilizes a structural 1/4" ACX plywood skin acting as a shear diaphragm, anchored to the steel trailer frame with Grade 5 carriage bolts and glued with structural polyurethane adhesive to eliminate squeaks and joint failure from road vibration.
