The project merges a heavy-ballasted tiered pine base with a slender carbon steel neck, topped with an AC-TIG-welded 6061-T6 aluminum truss-frame cantilever. To prevent galvanic corrosion, the dissimilar metal joints are fully isolated using custom dielectric nylon sleeves and stainless steel fasteners.
