A heavy-duty, heirloom-grade kitchen appliance carcase designed to hold heavy countertop equipment such as stand mixers (30+ lbs), large microwaves, and cast-iron Dutch ovens. Built from 3/4" cabinet-grade Baltic Birch plywood and solid hard maple face framing, this design utilizes 1/4" housed stop-dado joinery combined with 1.5" solid maple front shelf stiffeners. This structural edge-band increases the section modulus of each 36-inch span, restricting maximum operational deflection to under 0.018" under a 75 lb point load—well below the visual sag threshold. A captive 1/4" Baltic Birch back panel completely eliminates lateral racking under heavy weight.
