A heavy-duty architectural shadowbox enclosure and platform base, engineered to serve as a structurally stable mount for constructing or displaying a 3D model of a floor plan. Built with 12-inch-deep solid maple framing using reinforced splined miters and a structural half-inch plywood shear-panel backer to maintain absolute squareness across its large 24x36-inch dimensions.
